Add an app shortcut to the Chromebook shelf

  • Log in as a user.
  • Press the Search Key (magnifying glass) on the keyboard OR click the circle icon at the bottom left of the screen.
  • A menu of icons should appear.
  • Click on the Up Arrow at the bottom of the icons to display the expanded icon menu.
  • Hover the mouse over the icon you want to add to the shelf.
  • "Two-finger" click the icon.
  • In the menu that appears, click on Pin to Shelf.
